Wunderbaum werd uitgenodigd om in het REDCAT theater in Los Angeles (USA) een voorstelling te maken naar aanleiding van Venlo, in november 2010. We besloten Inez uit te nodigen om mee te gaan naar LA om daar haar verhaal te vertellen. We brachten McCarthy op de hoogte van haar komst.
