Shirokuro wint de Dioraphte Dansprijs

Op de laatste dag van Festival de Nederlandse Dansdagen heeft de voorstelling Shirokuro van NBprojects i.s.m. Tomoko Mukaiyama Foundation de Dioraphte Dansprijs gekregen.
De jury bestond dit jaar uit Laura Kumin (artistiek directeur Certamen Coreográfico de Madrid, Spanje), Natasa Georgiou (artistiek directeur Dance House Lemesos, Cyprus), Leman Yilmaz (artistiek directeur Istanbul Theatre Festival, Turkije) en Fons Dejong (Dansprogrammeur Theater aan het Vrijthof, Nederland).
De jury over Shirokuro: "The production most suitable for an international tour is a multidisciplinary performance, that in an ingenious way brings together, music, dance and visual arts.
The hallucinating and raw music, the strength of the dancer, set and light design, come together in an overwhelming experience. It’s with great pleasure, and applause, that the Dioraphte jury 2014 awards the prize to Nicole Beutler and Tomoko Mukaiyama for Shirokuro."
NBprojects ontvangt meerjarige activiteitensubsidie van het Fonds Podiumkunsten.
