Upcoming deadlines Tanzmesse

This is Fast Forward. The programme by the Dutch Performing Arts Fund that offers Dutch talent the opportunity to develop their career in an international context. Eleven participants will have the opportunity to work with leading international producers and to present themselves on the international stage. Today we are visiting Jorinde Keesmaat. Thanks to Fast Forward, this opera director from Amsterdam has the opportunity to work in New York. She is supervised by Jim Schaeffer, director of the Center for Contemporary Opera. Today they are discussing their first project: the opera by Louis Andriessen that premiered in the Sawdust theatre, and about the huge amount of opportunities in New York’s creative music scene.

He is the in-house choreographer of Scapino Ballet in Rotterdam, and in the Fast Forward programme he is working for Balleto di Roma in Italy. His supervisor is artistic leader Roberto Casarotto. Today they are discussing the performance that Itamar is making at Balleto di Roma. And about his ultimate dream: to have his own dance company.
