Following a successful first edition, the programme 'Fast Forward: talent in international context’ will be renewed. The Performing Arts Fund NL has appointed Viktorien van Hulst as intendent of the second edition. She will work with a group of scouts from the Dutch performing arts sector to link talented performing artists to a foreign producer, company, venue or festival. The scouts are: Annemieke Keurentjes, Guy Coolen, Jolanda Spoel, Martijn Buser, Piet Menu, Rakesh Kanhai and Samuel Wuersten.
With Fast Forward 2, promising mid-career performing arts are given the opportunity to engage in international collaboration. Given the programme’s international character, it will work closely with Dutch Performing Arts.
First edition
Fast Forward offers talented makers the opportunity to work on a performance or concert under the supervision of a foreign producer. The first edition enabled eleven makers to realise their international project. The programme offers a means to put Dutch performing artists on the international map and to boost their career.
