Corona measures taken by the Performing Arts Fund NL

The Fund is well aware that the measures can have consequences for your activities. If, despite your efforts to limit the damage, any Fund-supported activities cannot be carried out as planned, then we will recognise this in our grant accountability. We are in close contact with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) with respect to the possible (partial) compensation for damage suffered, but cannot say more about this now.

The Fund can be reached by telephone and email
The Performing Arts Fund NL staff members are doing their utmost to ensure that work continues ‘normally’, as far as possible. We continue to be available by telephone and email. We will also continue to process all grant requests within the stipulated terms.

If you have any further questions about this matter, please contact Ralph Reede on telephone number +31 (0)70 70 72 700.

The Performing Arts Fund NL is the most important culture fund for music, music theatre, dance and theatre in the Netherlands and provides support on behalf of the government to all forms of the professional performing arts.

To be able to apply for a grant at the Performing Arts Fund, the applying person or organisation must be residing in the Netherlands, with the exception of applications for the grant for composition or libretto commission and for grant for Dutch presentations abroad at the invitation of prominent international festivals and venues.

Is your organisation based outside the Netherlands and do you wish to invite Dutch companies or artists to perform at your venue or festival? Those companies and artists can apply for a grant to cover their costs of travel, transport and visa. Please refer them to our page about the snelloket (in Dutch) for more information.

A foreign organisation that wants to apply is requested to contact the Performing Arts Fund before doing so. For Dutch presentations abroad, contact the international team at [] or +31 (0)70 707 27 00. For the grant for a composition or libretto commission, contact the composition team at [] or +31 (0)70 707 27 00.
