The Performing Arts Fund NL supports several leading Dutch awards that highlight exceptional talent in music, theatre, and composition. These include the Nederlandse Muziekprijs, the most prestigious recognition for classical musicians in the Netherlands; the Matthijs Vermeulenprijs, the country’s foremost award for contemporary composition; the Toneelschrijfprijs, presented annually for the best new Dutch-language play; and the Boy Edgarprijs, the top Dutch award for jazz and improvised music. Together, these awards help promote outstanding artistic achievement and strengthen the visibility of the performing arts in the Netherlands internationally.
