The Performing Arts Fund is involved in several leading Dutch awards that recognize outstanding talent in classical music, composition, theatre, and jazz. Nederlandse Muziekprijs

The Nederlandse Muziekprijs is the highest distinction awarded by the Dutch government to a classical musician working in the Netherlands. The award follows an intensive, personalised study trajectory and recognises exceptional artistic achievement.

Matthijs Vermeulenprijs

The Matthijs Vermeulenprijs is the Netherlands’ leading award for contemporary composition. It honours a music composition of outstanding artistic value.

Toneelschrijfprijs

The Toneelschrijfprijs is presented annually to the author of the best original Dutch-language play that premiered in the previous calendar year.

Boy Edgarprijs

The Boy Edgarprijs is the most important award for jazz and improvised music in the Netherlands. It is awarded to a performing musician who has made an exceptional contribution to the field.
