The music author development grant is intended for music authors who wish to invest in their professional artistic development. The aim is for the grant to lead to new work that deepens or broadens the applicant's musical practice artistically. In addition, the outcome contributes to enriching the wider music field.

Grants for commissioning compositions or librettos aim to promote the quality and diversity of Dutch performing arts and to reach an audience for them.

The Stage Grant supports Dutch venues in presenting a professional, high-quality and diverse range of performing arts and contributes to building an audience for this in their own environment. The subsidy is granted for a period of four years (1 July 2025 to 30 June 2029).

Subsidies for developing, performing or reviving performances, concerts and competitions aim to promote the quality of the performing arts and reach an audience for them.

Grants for programming pop festivals featuring Dutch bands are intended to contribute to the development of pop music in the Netherlands. The Pop Music Festival Programming Scheme will run until 30 June 2026. After that, this scheme will be merged with the SKIP scheme into a new scheme: the Programme and Presentation Contribution.

To develop and strengthen the international reach of Dutch performing arts organisations.

The urban projects programme focuses on music, theatre, dance and spoken word performances that are created from urban culture. The programme is open to creators and artists who are active in their own environment but have not yet made a national breakthrough.

Our composition schemes serve a small but highly diverse field. This policy focuses on composers and their development. The series subsidy is intended to give experienced clients more scope to work on a longer-term commissioning policy.
