The urban projects programme focuses on music, theatre, dance and spoken word performances that are created from urban culture. The programme is open to creators and artists who are active in their own environment but have not yet made a national breakthrough.
Subsidy for talented newcomers to develop their skills over a longer period (maximum two years), in collaboration with companies, venues and festivals.
The investment fund for independent productions enables independent producers to invest in new Dutch repertoire and reach a large audience. Successful projects help to maintain the fund by contributing to its budget.
The grant for music hubs in the field of pop, hip hop and dance supports partnerships that stimulate talent development in pop music, hip hop music or dance music.
This grant is intended for theatre authors to write new works for the theatre. The Performing Arts Fund collaborates with the Dutch Foundation for Literature on this grant. Their joint goal is to stimulate the quality, diversity and development of the Dutch theatre repertoire.
Our composition schemes serve a small but highly diverse field. This policy focuses on composers and their development. The series subsidy is intended to give experienced clients more scope to work on a longer-term commissioning policy.
