Development grant awards for composers announced
The first awards of the development grant for composers (Dutch: Ontwikkelbeurs muziekauteur) have been announced. Thirty-three composers were awarded a grant in the first application round of 2025.

After-movie: the Matthijs Vermeulenprijs award ceremony
21 June was the Day of the Composer. At the final concert in Museum Speelklok in Utrecht, Trevor Grahl was awarded the Matthijs Vermeulenprijs for his poignant composition Śpiewnik. It is a piece that blends together personal and cultural memories.

A look back: Festival Wonderfeel and networking trips to Festival d’Avignon and Festival Santarcangelo
How do you concretely achieve international exchange? Festivals offer an excellent opportunity to meet performing art professionals from inside and outside the country. That’s why we organised the following activities in the past month: a visitors’ programme at music festival Wonderfeel and two networking trips, to Festival d’Avignon (France) and Festival Santarcangelo (Italy).
