How to apply?
This is a rolling grant scheme, which means that you can submit an application at any time of the year for as long as the budget lasts. Applications are processed in the order in which they are received.
You can apply from 16 weeks before the first activity. Your fully completed application must be submitted by not later than 4 weeks before the first activity. The Fund will reach a decision within 8 weeks at most from the date of receiving your fully completed application. The Fund strives to reach a decision within 4 weeks.
Before submitting an application, be sure to read the regulations on wetten.overheid.nl, available online from 1 June 2026.
You must submit your application via My Fund. You need a My Fund account to do so.
- Already have an account? Then sign in via My Fund.
- Don’t have an account yet? Bear in mind that it takes two office days on average for your account to be activated.
Good to know
- You can submit a maximum of four applications per calendar year. If you are awarded a grant through this scheme once during a calendar year, then you are not eligible to receive another grant through this scheme during that same calendar year.
- Your application will be rejected if your journey is already supported through another grant scheme of the Performing Arts Fund NL. In this way we avoid awarding double funding.
Obligations and accountability
Be sure to notify the Fund immediately if your journey is cancelled or your plan or schedule changes, or if you are unable to fulfil all the obligations.
You are not required to provide an accountability report afterwards, in principle. However, the Fund does perform random checks. In that case we might ask you, for example, for a brief report or proof of the journey you made.
