From 9 to 12 July, we welcomed international jazz programmers to the Netherlands as part of a visitors programme organised in collaboration with North Sea Jazz Festival, LantarenVenster, North Sea Round Town and BumaCultuur.
During North Sea Jazz Festival, participants were introduced to Dutch artists including Tijn Wybenga / Brainteaser Orchestra, Benjamin Herman, Suzan Veneman, Tineke Postma and the North Sea String Quartet. They also had the opportunity to experience Rotterdam’s vibrant jazz scene, with a special highlight being the try-out performance of Ben van Gelder’s commissioned composition at LantarenVenster.
