Open now: Grant for Programming and Presentation
The Programme and Presentation Grant supports professional programming and presentation of the performing arts in the Netherlands and the Caribbean part of the Kingdom. This grant replaces the Small-scale and incidental programming (Kleinschalige en incidentele programmering, SKIP) and the pop festival grant (Programmering festival popmuziek). Applications are open until 3 December 2025.

New format: Dutch Music Prize
Starting in 2025, the Dutch Music Prize will take on a new form. The prize will no longer be linked to a study trajectory but will instead be awarded by an independent jury that follows the musicians over a six-month period in their artistic practice. From now on, the prize will be presented every two years.

New Secretary: Welcome Idelette Rocha
As of 1 October, Idelette Rocha has joined the Performing Arts Fund NL as secretary. She focuses on talent development, interdisciplinarity, and strengthening new and informal networks. She is responsible, among other things, for the Urban Projects Grant.

Choreographer Marco Gerris: Winner Johannes Vermeer Award 2025
Choreographer Marco Gerris wins the Johannes Vermeer Award 2025 for his groundbreaking work combining urban sports, dance, and theatre. The award ceremony will take place on 17 November at the Nieuwe Kerk in The Hague.

Visitors Programme: De Betovering (20–21 October)
During festival De Betovering (English: The Enchantment), the Fund facilitates the visit of international programmers. In doing so, we contribute to the festival’s visitors programme on 20 and 21 October, aiming to strengthen the international visibility of the sector.
