Scheme for music hubs in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom opens on 1 April

News

On 1 April, the grant scheme for music hubs in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom (Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba) will open. The scheme is intended for organisations and individual initiators focusing on talent development in pop, hip hop and dance music.

The grant supports activities that contribute to the artistic and professional development of talent and their presentation within the local music scene. Pop music also includes popular regional genres such as tumba, zouk, soca and kompa. Behind-the-scenes roles, such as production, organisational and technical functions, may also form part of a project.

The scheme is open to organisations and to individual initiators who live and work in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom. The grant amounts to a maximum of €40,000 for organisations and €20,000 for individual initiators.

Applications can be submitted on a rolling basis via My Fund and are processed in order of receipt, as long as the budget remains available.
