How do you show that you collaborate fairly? How do you ensure fair pay and record agreements with makers? The new Fair Practice Gids (guide) is a digital tool that helps makers and organisations in the cultural sector apply the Fair Practice Code in their working practice.
In the guide you will find an introduction to fair practice, as well as practical tips and examples from the sector. You can explore the different themes of the Fair Practice Code and see how others apply them in their work. The guide also offers inspiration and practical tools to help you incorporate fair practice into your planning, collaborations and budgeting. This makes it clearer how decisions related to fair practice can be explained in a funding application.
Please note that the Fair Practice Gids is currently only available in Dutch.
The Fair Practice Gids was developed in collaboration with Platform ACCT and Kunsten ’92 by nine cultural funds: Het Cultuurfonds, Netherlands Film Fund, Cultural Participation Fund, Fonds 21, Dutch Foundation for Literature, Mondriaan Fund, Creative Industries Fund NL, VSBfonds and Fonds Podiumkunsten. The aim of the guide is to support makers and organisations in sustainably embedding fair practice in their work and in funding applications.
