You may request information about the activities of the Performing Arts Fund. In doing so, you are invoking the Freedom of Information Act (Wet open overheid, or Woo), formerly the Wet openbaarheid van bestuur (or Wob).
You must submit your request for information in writing, either by post or by email. Please address the request to the Fund’s Woo contact person.
Please specify as precisely as possible what information you require. The information must be contained in documents held by the Fund. The information you wish to receive must therefore be recorded somewhere within the Fund.
Furthermore, the information must relate to the Fund’s public remit (policy and operations). If you have any questions about submitting a request, please contact the Fund’s contact person, Woo.
In principle, the Fund does not charge any fees for processing a request for information. If information is not provided in digital form, the Fund may charge a fee depending on the volume of information made available. The Woo contact person will always consult with the applicant first regarding this.
The Fund will assess whether the information can be disclosed. If the request is too general, the contact person, Woo, will contact you to ask you to clarify the request.
The Fund will make a decision on your request within four weeks. If the request is granted (in full or in part), the information will be provided to you. If the request is refused, the Fund will explain why the information cannot be made public.
If the Fund discloses the requested information, this means that the information is publicly accessible from that point onwards. Previous decisions and the information provided are published in the publications section (currently only available in Dutch).
