Prijswinnend Braziliaans theater in Nederland te zien

De derde voorstelling binnen het programma Ervaar daar hier Theater is het Braziliaanse O Jardim.
Leonardo Moreira is dramaturg en regisseur bij zijn eigen gezelschap Companhia Hiato in São Paulo. Hij haalde zijn master dramaturgie aan de University of São Paulo. De nog jonge Moreira heeft alle prijzen die er in Brazilië en omstreken zijn te winnen inmiddels op zak.
Met O Jardim, zijn derde gelauwerde theatervoorstelling, kreeg Moreira maar liefst 19 nominaties en won hij in 2012 voor de tweede maal de Shell Award voor ‘Outstanding Author, naast de APCA Award voor ‘Outstanding Direction’, de Governor São Paulo State Award voor ‘Outstanding Play’, and de Paulista Cooperative Theater Award voor ‘Outstanding Author and Play’.
