The Performing Arts Fund works with a pool of advisers from which it composes an Advisory Board for each focus area and for each round of grants. The Performing Arts Fund has the following focus areas: music, composition, internationalisation, music theatre, theatre, dance and festivals.

The Advisory Committees advise the General Director about the distribution and allocation of the grants, in direct coordination with the Fund's secretaries and programme managers.

Each adviser is familiar with the developments in one of the Fund's focus areas, and all have specific knowledge of one or more sub-categories of music, theatre, dance or music composition.
