The General Director of the Performing Arts Fund is Henriëtte Post. She has held the post since 1 March 2013. The Fund’s work is supervised by a Supervisory Board. The Fund is committed to a balanced staffing policy. In 2017 there were 52 employees in temporary or permanent employment, 7 of them have a culturally diverse background. The male/female ratio is 33-67 per cent. The average age was 48 years. The workforce amounted to 45,6 FTEs in 2013.

The Fund works with a large pool of advisers in committees of various composition, who offer advice about grant applications. We also use their expertise for performance visits and policy development. In 2017 there were a total of 289 advisers, that were involved with the Fund. The members of the external selection committee advise the General Director when appointing advisers.

The Fund seeks the advice of an independent objections committee concerning objections relating to multiple-year applications, 2017- 2020. Concerning all other grants, the Fund provides a simple procedure using only an Appeals Board headed by an external Chairman.
