International Classical Music Auditions 2015

08 April 2015
The application deadline for soloists wanting to participate in the International Classical Music Auditions 2015 is May 1st 2015.
The International Classical Music Auditions (ICMA) are exactly what they say they are; auditions during which around 100 critically selected international soloists present themselves to a sizeable group of international talent scouts such as artistic directors/programmers of orchestras, concert halls, opera houses, festivals, artist management agencies, record labels and media companies.

ICMA 2015 is not a competition. Every participating soloist gets exactly the same attention and the general goal of ICMA 2015 is to help all participants on their way to a flourishing career in music.

There is no formal age limit for participating soloists but the committee conducting the pre-selection will only let musicians through to the actual auditions who have a good chance of (still) having a career as an international soloist. All instruments and voice types are eligible.

ICMA 2015 will take place from Monday August 31st until Friday September 4th and the location is the magnificent Chamber Music Hall of the Amsterdam Concertgebouw. On Sunday August 30th in the evening there is a formal opening reception and on Friday September 4th ICMA 2015 will be closed with a party.

Next to the actual auditions there will be ample opportunity for networking. Apart from the opening and closing festivities some interesting outings will be organised in the evenings (optional).

Video recordings of the auditions and all information about the participating soloists and talent scouts will end up on icma.tv (also available to those who could not make it to Amsterdam) and this website will be actively marketed worldwide.

You will find all information on icma.tv
